Jasmine Denson

A graduate of West Side High School in Gary, IN in 2010, Jasmine was a varsity cheerleader competing and earning many awards. She then attended Calumet St. Joseph College and competed as a member of Crimson Wave. With the Crimson Wave, she competed for years in the NDA National Dance Competition in Daytona Beach, placing in the top 10 each year. Her passion for coaching stems from the opportunity to grow and mentor many young children who need positive role models in their lives. Jasmine joined LDA in 2017 as the Hip Hop/Tumbling coach. 

Tahvie Dixon

With years of performing and cheering Tahvie began cheering at 8 years old. From elementary school, Tahvie entered Emerson School of the Visual and Performing Arts and cheered varsity for Lew Wallace High School. As the captain of Lew Wallace High School Varsity Cheer leading team, LWHS became the best competing team in the region. In 2015, she became the Assistant Coach of Roosevelt High School Cheer Team until that position closed in 2017. Tahvie joined LDA as the Cheer/Stunt coach in 2016.

At the age of 5 she became a competitive cheerleader for Gary Steelers. For high school Jericka attened Emerson V.P.A but cheered for Lew Wallace High School. From 2013-2014, her senior year, she served as a Varsity Cheer Captain. In the fall of 2014, she attended IUPUP for Accounting. In her freshman year in college she started  taking Zumba classes and became a Zumba Instuctor in 2016 and graduated from college in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, but  still had the love and passion for cheer and training  youths for competitions. In 2019 she joined LDA Cheer and Dance Studio as a Cheer Coach/ Pyramid Coach where her goal is to inspire and motivate the youth while teaching them the fundamentals of cheerleading .
